This morning I received an email from “Barack Obama” informing me that he has chosen Joe Biden to be his running mate in the November elections. Joe Biden has served as a US senator of Delaware since 1973 and has been apart of the Judiciary and Foreign Affairs committee since that time. Not only was he a member of the Foreign Affairs committee, but for the 110 Congress, he is the chairman of the committee. This may be the reason that Obama chose him as his running mate. He will help to cut the gap between McCain on foreign affairs and hopefully show the country that he does have the resources to handle US foreign relations.

I’m not sure if this will make the ticket stronger for Obama, but I do know that if John McCain selects Mitt Romney (former Massachusetts Governor), Obama’s chances will drop significantly. I know that many people are against it, but he should have chosen Hillary Clinton as his VEEP. He completely forgot about the 18 million votes that Clinton attained and now those people will either be voting for McCain or not voting at all. Either way it was a bad move on Obama’s part to pick Biden.
I have a feeling that his campaign is going to crumble because of this choice, however, I am still voting for Obama because John McCain will continue what George W. Bush started and this country will fall down even harder than it has now. George Bush says that America doesn’t have any problems, but it seems that we are going to have four more years of “Bush” if Obama doesn’t fly out of the downward spiral he is currently in. Since July, he has lost half of the lead that he had over McCain. Obama is not perfect, no one is, but this country can not afford to continue on the same path that it is going in. We need a change and Obama is that change. He may not be the best choice in the history of the US, but he is not GW or McCain.
Since I just recently lost my father to cancer, this is a very important topic to me. I hope that you share this with anyone who is important in your life.

Every person has cancer cells in the body. These cancer cells do not show up in the standard tests until they have multiplied to a few billion. When doctors tell cancer patients that there are no more cancer cells in their bodies after treatment, it just means the tests are unable to detect the cancer cells because they have not reached the detectable size.
Cancer cells occur between 6 to more than 10 times in a person’s lifetime
When the person’s immune system is strong the cancer cells will be destroyed and prevented from multiplying and forming tumors.
When a person has cancer it indicates the person has multiple nutritional deficiencies. These could be due to genetic, environmental, food and lifestyle factors.
To overcome the multiple nutritional deficiencies, changing diet and including supplements will strengthen the immune system.
Chemotherapy involves poisoning the rapidly-growing cancer cells and also destroys rapidly-growing healthy cells in the bone marrow, gastro-intestinal tract etc, and can cause organ damage, like liver, kidneys, heart, lungs etc.
Radiation while destroying cancer cells also burns, scars and damages healthy cells, tissues and organs.
Initial treatment with chemotherapy and radiation will often reduce tumor size. However prolonged use of chemotherapy and radiation do not result in more tumor destruction.
When the body has too much toxic burden from chemotherapy and radiation the immune system is either compromised or destroyed, hence the person can succumb to various kinds of infections and complications.
Chemotherapy and radiation can cause cancer cells to mutate and become resistant and difficult to destroy. Surgery can also cause cancer cells to spread to other sites.
An effective way to battle cancer is to starve the cancer cells by not feeding it with the foods it needs to multiply.
CANCER CELLS FEED ON:
Sugar is a cancer-feeder. By cutting off sugar it cuts off one important food supply to the cancer cells. Sugar substitutes like NutraSweet, Equal,Spoonful, etc are made with Aspartame and it is harmful. A better natural substitute would be Manuka honey or molasses but only in very small amounts. Table salt has a chemical added to make it white in color. Better alternative is Bragg’s aminos or sea salt.
Milk causes the body to produce mucus, especially in the gastro-intestinal tract. Cancer feeds on mucus. By cutting off milk and substituting with unsweetened soya milk cancer cells are being starved.
Cancer cells thrive in an acid environment. A meat-based diet is acidic and it is best to eat fish, and a little chicken rather than beef or pork. Meat also contains livestock antibiotics, growth hormones and parasites, which are all harmful, especially to people with cancer.
A diet made of 80% fresh vegetables and juice, whole grains,seeds, nuts and a little fruits help put the body into an alkaline environment.About 20% can be from cooked food including beans. Fresh vegetable juices prov ide live enzymes that are easily absorbed and reach down to cellular levels within 15 minutes to nourish and enhance growth of healthy cells. To obtain live enzymes for building healthy cells try and drink fresh vegetable juice (most vegetables including bean sprouts)and eat some raw vegetables 2 or 3 times a day. Enzymes are destroyed at temperatures of 104 degrees F (40 degrees C).
Avoid coffee, tea, and chocolate, which have high caffeine.Green tea is a better alternative and has cancer-fighting properties. Water-best to drink purified water, or filtered, to avoid known toxins and heavy metals in tap water. Distilled water is acidic, avoid it.
Meat protein is difficult to digest and requires a lot of digestive enzymes. Undigested meat remaining in the intestines become purified and leads to more toxic buildup.
Cancer cell walls have a tough protein covering. By refraining from or eating less meat it frees more enzymes to attack the protein walls of cancer cells and allows the body’s ki ller cells to destroy the cancer cells.
Some supplements build up the immune system (IP6, Flor-ssence,Essiac, anti-oxidants, vitamins, minerals, EFAs etc.) to enable the body’s own killer cells to destroy cancer cells. Johns Hopkins has recently sent this out in its newsletters. This information is being circulated at Walter Reed Army Medical Center as well. Dioxin chemicals causes cancer, especially breast cancer. Dioxins are highly poisonous to the cells of our bodies. Don’t freeze your plastic bottles with water in them as this releases dioxins from the plastic. Recently, Dr. Edward Fujimoto, Wellness Program Manager at Castle Hospital , was on a TV program to explain this health hazard. He talked about dioxins and how bad they are for us.. He said that we should not be heating our food in the microwave using plastic containers. This especially applies to foods that contain fat. He said that the combination of fat, high heat, and plastics releases dioxin into the food and ultimately into the cells of the body. Instead, he recommends using glass, such as Corning Ware, Pyrex or ceramic containers for heating food. You get the same results, only without the dioxin. So such things as TV dinners, instant ramen and soups, etc., should be removed from the container and heated in something else. Paper isn’t bad but you don’t know what is in the paper. It’s just safer to use tempered glass, Corning Ware, etc. He reminded us that a while ago some of the fast food restaurants moved away from the foam containers to paper. The dioxin problem is one of the reasons.
Also, he pointed out that plastic wrap, such as Saran, is just as dangerous when placed over foods! to be c ooked in the microwave. As the food is nuked, the high heat causes poisonous toxins to actually melt out of the plastic wrap and drip into the food. Cover food with a paper towel instead.

I saw the Dark Knight today with my friend Lindsay and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Heath Ledgers performance will shock you because of how real he makes it. He locks in on the role and never backs down. I would highly recommend this movie to anyone, even people who aren’t interested in Batman.
As this video explains, Heath should be up for an Oscar. I know the video is a few weeks old, but it made my point.
When this originally aired, my DVR did not process the recording and I was unable to watch it. Luckily, they are replaying it tonight.
This week has been very bad and I needed a good laugh. Jonah Hill was absolutely hilarious on each skit in the first half hour. I haven’t got past that yet. His monologue was “f in fancy” and very funny.

For the first time Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton share the stage in Unity…New Hampshire. The tiny town of Unity, NH (Pop. 1,530) hosted this gathering. It is not the smallest town in NH….Erving’s Location, NH has a population of 1 resident. I know that is off-topic but interesting.
Hopefully this rally will unite the party and put Barack Obama in the White House!
John McCain’s website launched a new feature to “entertain all the kiddies” out there. Did he completely miss 5 years of his life when he was younger? Oh, he did…I’m sorry! He must have missed when “Space Invaders” was cool, because it isn’t now. He is now trying to “kill pigs” on his website. I thought we were going after “terrorists”. I put terrorists in quotes because terrorists is short…well long for OIL. I guess he is just upset at being a POW for 5 years and continuing to kill is his payback. I have full support for the troops who are risking their life, but I DO NOT SUPPORT THE WAR! I know I have freedom of speech, but is John McCain going to try and kill me as well?
I know the game is not about killing pigs. It is referring to pork barrel spending aka Earkmarks. I am against McCain in the election, (GO OBAMA) but I wanted to try this game to see what you win. I found out that all you get are slams against Barack Obama on his views on Earmarks. I am not saying that I like that our tax money is getting spent on failed/useless projects, but this is the dumbest idea that I have seen in a very long time.
When I went on his website, I found embed code and a link to install the Facebook application. I felt that I needed to embed the code to show everyone how old school he is. Has he ever seen a video game in the year 2008? I guess maybe enjoy it….no, no you won’t.
A Boy Scout camp in Little Sioux, Iowa was destroyed after a tornado hit the camp.
Iowa Public Safety Commissioner Gene Meyer said the four were killed by a storm that slammed into the Little Sioux Scout Ranch near the Nebraska state line.
Meyer said about 120 people, including 93 campers, were believed to be at the camp at the time of the storm.
About 40 people were injured, said Sheri Bauwens, a nurse with the American Red Cross.
Lloyd Roitstein, president of the Boy Scouts of Mid-America Council, said the Scouts at the ranch were advanced Scouts between 13 and 18 years old and were there for a week of training.
He said they were staying in tents and that the site is destroyed.
“All of the buildings are gone; most of the tents are gone; most of the trees are destroyed,” Roitstein said. “You’ve got 1,800 acres of property that are destroyed right now.”
Being an Eagle Scout myself, this was very upsetting to me. They were behind a mountain and there was no where to really escape the twister. They didn’t have a plan or a shelter to go into. When I called my mother to tell her about the situation, she said, “They weren’t prepared”, which is funny considering the Scout Motto is “Be Prepared”. It wasn’t meant to be a joke, but it did lighten the situation a bit.
