I am a PHP Web Developer who loves to write code and design exciting web applications. I graduated from Plymouth State University with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Information Technology and a Minor in Business Administration. I worked for StudentCity.com as a Web Developer and Network Administrator. If you are a high school or college student and want to go on Spring Break, let GradCity.com and StudentCity.com help you. After StudentCity, I decided to spend more time working on my own project.
I am developing an event planning web application which is almost in the alpha stage of development. With a lot of experience in event planning from PACE (Programming Activities in a Campus Environment) while at Plymouth State, I am using my knowledge to help others plan events via a web 2.0 application. I have over 5 years of event planning experience and 1 year being the President of the organization and my web application will help individuals brainstorm, plan, execute and evaluate your upcoming event(s).
I moved up to Portland Maine in April 2009 and started working for a small web development company in the “Old Port”. I have been there a little over one year and I still love it.
I am an Armenian Web Developer who officially became an Eagle Scout on January 13, 2003. Since I am Armenian and an Eagle Scout, it gave me a great name for this blog. My blog covers a compendium of information from the obvious topics (Armenia, Scouting and Technology) to Entertainment, Sports, Humor and other Random Rants.
My family and friends are the most important aspects of my life along with my religion. My parents are my heroes and very close to my heart. My mother was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis when I was 6 years old and my father was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor (p.7) that he fought for 11 years, but the cancer was too much. He passed away on July 6, 2008. I have two older sisters who are married. I have two older sisters who are married. My oldest sister has a son, Cameron, who is 4 years old and a 2 year old daughter named Carly (my goddaughter). My other sister just had a baby girl named Audrey. My friends are like family to me because a true friend is always there when you need them. I will do anything to help out a friend who is in need because I know that if I needed them, they would be there for me.
