Verizon Workers Look At Barack Obama’s Cell Records
Verizon Wireless president made a statement today that some of the employees accessed President-Elect Barack Obama’s cell phone records. No emails/voicemails were accessed, but the people involved were put on unpaid leave.
“All employees who have accessed the account — whether authorized or not — have been put on immediate leave, with pay,” McAdam said. “Employees with legitimate business needs for access will be returned to their positions, while employees who have accessed the account improperly and without legitimate business justification will face appropriate disciplinary action.”
I wonder if they actually got any information that Verizon is not disclosing.
