Barack Obama Officially Accepted The Democratic Nomination
Tonight in Denver, CO, Barack Obama accepted the Democratic nomination for President of the United States in front of 84,000 people. He had an amazing speech and hopefully rallied the party together after a roller coaster like ride between Hillary and Barack. He bought up all the hot topic issues that are really affecting this country.
- Universal Health Care
- Economy
- The War in Iraq/Veterans Benefits
- Dependence on Foreign Oil/Gas Prices
- Education
- Housing Market
- Global Warming
- Education
- Families
- CHANGE!!!!!
Barack Obama (fingers crossed) is going to be the next President of the United States. He has the plan and the heart to change this country as we all remember before George W. Bush. I am not saying that he will be a FDR or JFK, but he will be better than what we have now. We have a corrupt government who is saying that America doesn’t have any problems and that we are whiners. Barack Obama is someone who has been proving his stances in the Senate since 2005. However, he was in the Illinois Senate from 1997 creating change in the state. He has helped average Americans and not the privileged few that Bush and McCain make friends with who have the money.
As far as Joe Biden, I take back my previous statement about not thinking it was a good idea. After watching him speak at the Democratic National Convention, I realized that he is a good pick for Obama’s VP. His foreign relations are going to strengthen the ticket and hopefully help him win. When I talked about Hillary being VP, I was actually just looking for the votes, but when her and Bill spoke to the Dems at the DNC, I am hoping that their convincing arguments will turn those equal numbers from recent weeks back onto Obama’s side show McCain and his “advisers” that America wants change and not more of the same. As Obama put it, “Eight Is Enough”, but for me, Four years was too much.
DEMOCRATIC PARTY UNITE AND ELECT BARACK OBAMA AS THE NEXT PRESIDENT

Glad you came around and saw the light with Biden.
