Putting her on the ticket as VP would have seemed more like pandering than actually strengthening the ticket. Joe Biden is a spectacular choice. Frankly, if not for a couple verbal missteps, we might be sitting here seeing Biden choose Obama as running mate rather than the way it turned out. McCain's complaints about lack of experience or foreign policy will all now crumble. This will be a boost. Any democrat who votes for McCain and not vote for Obama because Hillary didn’t win the primary is stupid.
