The Majority of Democrats Want Joint Ticket: Obama-Clinton
Earlier today, there was a sample poll taken by Democrats who said that they wanted a joint ticket with Obama as Presidential nominee and Clinton as Vice President nominee. However, there was another exit poll after the ballots were counted in West Virginia that said neither party would be happy with the other as the nominee for President. I know they are two different polls, but they do work together to prove that the party is divided and that Clinton is only making it worse by staying in this race. She is going to lose (unless something drastic changes) and she is keeping the party separated.
Hopefully once the polls close in Oregon, Clinton will realize that her push for office in 2008 is over and drop out. It will give Obama a few more months to pull the party back together and get the Republican party out of the Oval Office. As for a joint ticket, I would be fine with it as long as Hillary drops out next week. If she keeps it to the convention, than she cares more about the power than the party and she doesn’t deserve the spot on the ticket BEHIND Obama.
**NOTE: The price of gas will be rising to $4.29/gallon soon!!! Just over 1 year ago, we were at $2.16/gallon doubling in a little over a year. The price for a barrel of oil in $125, by 2013, they are predicting it to be around $300 per barrel. THINK ABOUT IT
