I’m not sure who remembers Mr. Feeny, but he was a very big influence in my life growing up. Just like most adults (who were kids at the time) learned a lot from Feeny and Boy Meets World. So much so that MyPartyShirt.com created a shirt that says: “Everything I need to know in life was taught to me by Mr. Feeny”.

Even though William Daniels was in many other films and tv shows, he will always be known as Mr. Feeny.
So Happy Birthday William Daniels A.K.A. Mr. Feeny!

11 year old Jon Penn was named Network Administrator after the original admin left unexpectedly. The computer network was struggling and they asked him to run the network. He picked out the school’s Anti Virus and made some other changes to their existing setup to better suit the needs of the school.
I was the big into computers at that age, but I didn’t run a school network by myself. It wasn’t until Jr. High that I was helping run the computer labs. In High School I was pulled out of my classes to fix computers and it was accepted by all teachers. I was chosen to take college credits in computers while in HS. I was able to get my MOUS certification which allowed me to teach computer programs to teachers and parents of the high schoolers. (Adobe products, Office and Internet) I was sent to Armenia on behalf of the US. Government to teach computers over there.
Jon Penn definitely has me beat in network control!

This is only a visual review since it just came out today and I have only had a chance to work on it in my nephew’s blog. (which I haven’t written in a while). This is not about functionality, just design and it is not comprehensive.
If you want to see bigger versions of the pictures, click on it and it will bring you to flickr.
The dashboard is very different, but I like it. It will take a little time to get used to, but I feel that many will enjoy the change.

Write is more understanding of how people blog and what they are looking for.

Besides Options changing to Settings, there’s not much difference here.

This is a really quick review
However, I am going to wait until 2.5.1 comes out or at least wait a week to check for any serious security flaws.

Tonight I went to go see 21: The Movie with my best friend Kristin and we both enjoyed it a lot. Even though the critics said that it was an awful movie, it was gripping and kept my attention the whole time.
Ben Campbell (Jim Sturgess) is an MIT student who – needing to pay school tuition – finds answers in counting cards. As a superior math and statistics student, he is recruited to join a group of mathematically-gifted students that heads to Las Vegas every weekend with fake identities and the know-how to turn the odds at blackjack in their favor. Unorthodox math professor Mickey Rosa (Kevin Spacey) leads the way. By counting cards and employing an intricate system of signals, the team can beat the casinos. Drawn by the money, the Vegas lifestyle, and his teammate, Jill Taylor (Kate Bosworth), Ben begins to push the limits. Though counting cards isn’t illegal, the stakes are high, and the challenge becomes not only keeping the numbers straight, but staying one step ahead of the casino’s menacing enforcer, Cole Williams (Laurence Fishburne).
Kristin was “stressed” for most of the movie because she was so into it. Speaking of being into it, Kate Bosworth stated that to do the love scene with her screen counterpart, they both got completely hammered on, what she believes to be, Grey Goose. She also said that at one point she couldn’t stand up and then blacked out.
*** SPOILER ALERT **********
“What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas”, however, that statement can mean different things to different people. For someone like Ben who grew up in Southie, and was trying to pay for Harvard Medical School while working at minimum wage, you would expect him to only win. However, what happens when the urge takes over your whole body making you unaware of what you are pulling yourself into. For Ben, that was what happened. He was up $315,000 when everything went horribly wrong.
He lost $200,000 of Mickey’s money and instead of going back to Boston, Ben tried to get it back. Mickey opted to rat him out and get have him get beat up by “security” (Loss Prevention Enforcer). Mickey then stole all of Ben’s money, didn’t let him graduate from MIT which dropped his chance at getting into HMS. He had nothing to win, nothing to lose and he went to Mickey to try and make a deal with him and get his life back on track.
Ben, however, was plotting against Mickey with the casino enforcer to get a second chance. They went in for the jackpot one last time and got caught. Ben and Jill then switched the chips for a bag of candy coins and Mickey was stuck in a limo with Cole’s thugs and Ben shocked the scholarship chairman with his “life lesson” in counting cards in Vegas.
Everything turned out fine in the end for him, but is the money really all that he went through? Most people would say no, however big risk, big reward; Bigger risk, bigger reward.
