National Treasure 2: Book of Secrets Review

nationaltreasure2I finally got around to seeing “National Treasure 2: Book of Secrets” and I was really happy with the way it turned out. I was getting a mixed bag about how it was from others, but after seeing it for myself, I can see both sides of that argument.

One the one hand, it is a Disney movie so it will be very good, but not amazing. Also with Jerry Bruckheimer as producer, it has the ability to become a classic movie that everyone will talk about. The movie takes you from the Buckingham Palace to the White House to Mount Rushmore on an exciting adventure that doesn’t stop until the very end.

However, I reason that I love these movies is because of the history behind it. A lot of information in that movie was accurate exactly like it happened in history. The movie showed a recreation of Lincoln’s assassination and what happened directly after and I know that it is right because of a report that I wrote in High School. One of my teachers made me write a report on Abraham Lincoln’s assassination and how it affected the country. I actually had the report until I graduated college and it got ripped and I threw it away. I did re-read it recently and they showed it exactly as I stated he did from my research. (I also wrote 2 pages on his autopsy, which was very interesting)

Back to my review: I recommend this movie to anyone who enjoys a little history, entertainment and action.
