‘Ace of Base’ Actually Had More Than One Hit Song

ace of base
I was having a conversation on the way to lunch with a few people from work about “Ace of Base”. Now I know that this is very random, but they were playing “The Sign” on the radio in the car. I made a comment about them being a one hit wonder and my boss tells me that they had quite a few hit songs. I didn’t believe him, but said that I would research it later and let him know.

After doing my homework on the situation, I found out that I did know their other songs, but didn’t know who sang them…until now. The songs are actually some really “good” early 90’s music that were awesome. Go back to those days once in a while and remember how things were different. Enjoy!

  1. “All That She Wants”
    • Platinum RIAA certification (over 1,000,000 copies sold), awarded November 12, 1993.
  2. “The Sign”
    • Platinum RIAA certification, awarded April 6, 1994. BMI Million-Air award, October 16-th 2007.
  3. “Don’t Turn Around”
    • Gold RIAA certification, awarded June 29, 1994.
  4. “Cruel Summer”
    • Gold RIAA certification, awarded September 1, 1998.
