Playboy Playmate From Photoshop

Do you think that anyone can be turned into a playboy playmate? Well, the answer is yes as long as they get enough surgeries and the right stylist. Check out what someone did using photoshop to turn a picture of a normal woman into a playboy playmate cover girl. It is sad that people have to completely change who they are to be on the cover of playboy, but that is life and some people will take that risk.

Youkilis’ Defense Earns Him A Gold Glove

Kevin Youkilis has been amazing as the Red Sox first baseman the past two years, but especially this year. He has played 192 games without making an error (at first base) and it has earned him his first gold glove. The only other Red Sox player to win a gold glove in the past 16 years was Varitek in 2005.

Steve Garvey holds the all-time Major League record of 193 consecutive errorless games at first, from June 26, 1983-April 14, 1985. Youkilis, who is sitting on an active streak of 190 games, could tear down that mark in April of next year, not long after the Red Sox unfurl the 2007 World Series championship banner at Fenway Park. His active streak of 1,586 errorless chances by season’s end also set a team record. McInnis holds the all-time Major League record for errorless chances at 1,700, which he carried over from Boston to Cleveland in 1922.

**** SPOILER WARNING ******
Betty Blue gets shot and Hector tries to help him stay alive while they get to safety. In the final minute of the episode while the Army is driving them home, Hector gets shot in the neck and dies.

I don’t know what to say, I actually got nervous about if he was going to live or die and then when he did, I was sad…over a TV show. It shows how much I get involved with my shows

Patriots Pull Off 4th Q Victory Over Colts - Go To 9-0

Payton ManningIt is so sweet to see this picture. Sorry Payton, I don’t feel bad for you, you deserve it. This was not a blow out by any means this week against the Colts. The Patriots struggled throughout this game whether it was the 2 interceptions thrown by Brady or the horrible, horrible calls by the referees, the Patriots definitely earned this win.

First lets talk about the offense for the Patriots. They were not on top of their game today, but that isn’t bad considering this was not meant to be a high scoring game. They made plays when they needed to, but were not outstanding like they have been all season. Luckily for the Patriots, the Colts weren’t able to put enough points on the board to win it. The Patriots took a 24-20 lead with 2:25 left in the game and on 3 and 9, Manning was sacked causing the ball to come loose right into Colvin’s hands. With no timeouts left, all the Patriots had to do was get a 1st down and they would win. What does Brady do, throws a pass for a first down. Patriots Win!!!

Now, can we talk about the penalties the Patriots got this game. I couldn’t believe that the referees called a game like that and the Patriots still managed to win. 146 Penalty Yards is a franchise record in a single game. There were 4 penalties that were completely uncalled for and 2 that were for for 77 yards.

  1. PENALTY on NE-A.Samuel, Defensive Pass Interference, 37 yards, enforced at NE 46 - No Play.
  2. PENALTY on NE-E.Hobbs, Defensive Pass Interference, 40 yards, enforced at NE 46 - No Play.
  3. PENALTY on NE-W.Andrews, Unsportsmanlike Conduct, 9 yards, enforced at NE 18.
  4. PENALTY on NE-R.Moss, Offensive Pass Interference, 10 yards, enforced at IND 3 - No Play.

My reactions (not a lot, just bullets)

  1. That was (from what I remember) acceptable, but it was for 37 yards which hurt.
  2. Completely bad call and everyone including the announcers have said it.
  3. The Colts player Andrews was holding would not let go of him either and that penalty should have been canceled out
  4. There was absolutely no need of this penalty considering the fact that Moss was looking at the ball when the occurance happened.

It doesn’t matter though because the Patriots remain undefeated at 9-0 and the Colts are not!

Note: The Patriots were not able to score on 1st possession and did not score first which is the first time this season that has happened for either stat.

Amazing Art Using An Etch A Sketch

Categories: Rants and Randomness

Growing up, I loved using an etch a sketch, but could never make anything cool with (like most people). Just like being an artist, it is a rare talent that not many possess. However, I would still have fun drawing on it. Here are some drawings that are amazing in detail and in accuracy.

Starry Night is one of the most noted pieces of art work in history and it came out really well.
etchasketch1

Cal Ripken Jr. played in a record 2,632 straight games spanning sixteen seasons, from May 30, 1982 to September 20, 1998. He played his 2131st consecutive game on September 6, 1995, against the California Angels, breaking the 56-year-old record set by the “Iron Horse” Lou Gehrig, the legendary New York Yankees first baseman. Ripken hit a home run in game 2130 and game 2131, moving fans to the point that his 2131st consecutive game was named Major League Baseball’s “Most Memorable Moment” in MLB history.

These images have so much detail that they are remarkable coming from an Etch A Sketch.

Must Sports Color Commentators Always Change Views

Posted at: 11:33 pm by Timothy Haroutunian
Categories: Sports and Leisure

207-2265_0661While I was watching the Red Sox play in the ALCS and World Series on Fox, I realized why I love watching the games on NESN, Joe Buck (one on far right) is a horrible commentator. Not only is he bad, but he is by far the worst color commentator in sports (well maybe John Madden as well). The entire series he had changed his view on the game based on the situation that each team was in. If the Red Sox were on fire, he couldn’t stop praising them, but when they screwed up he would say how bad they have been doing the past few games. I will get back to this comment in a minute, but I want to talk about why nationally televised post season games get dumbed down.

I have to wonder if Joe Buck actually knows anything about baseball or if he just reads stats that his team gives him because he doesn’t have anything helpful to say at all. I understand that this is a nationally televised game and most of the country doesn’t understand what the Red Sox can do, but why does he have to repeat himself day after day with statistics from 3 and 4 years ago. For example, the Red Sox were down 3-1 in 2004 (well 3-0, but for the situation he said 3-1) and they were able to come back and win the series. Obviously, most of the country knows about that story…actually, anyone who watches baseball knows all about it since they watched it happen. My question is why does he have to keep repeating and showing it like this is new information that no one knew. They would explain the situation every game and multiple times per game. Enough already!

Back to my original question now that I have gone on a small tangent. Joe Buck actually changed his tone about Manny Ramirez between a few innings. I am not talking about a little change of heart, but a complete end to end spectrum. First he commented on the quote that Manny gave to the press the other day saying that between that comment and him stopping on first to become an umpire, Manny shows that he is not interested in winning. A few innings later while they were showing a replay of the “almost home run”, he stated that Manny has unbelievable talent and strength to hit a ball that hard. He is not lying there, but honestly, merge into the change of heart.

Many other people have also commented on his sportscasting and have called him an “assclown” (which is quite funny). Wouldn’t you call him names if he made a comment like this (before a world series game): “I think the two best teams are meeting. I don’t know that every year you can say that.” Really Joe Buck, your going to go with that one. Come on, the superbowl/world series is for the championship. Even if the other teams are better, they obviously weren’t good enough to get to this point. Question for you Joe Buck, Do you even listen to yourself when you talk and say I am a complete idiot for making that comment. Any human living object who is has a brain would understand that the two best teams are playing for the championship.

More Quotes:

  • Dude needs a cast iron cup for straddling the fence
  • That’s $25 million on the mound for the New York Yankees.
  • 2005: We tried to sell the heck out of the Red Sox not winning in 86 years. Here’s a team that hasn’t won in 88 years.
  • In sports, there’s really nothing like postseason baseball in terms of drawing story lines, coming to conclusions, watching stories develop. In the Yankees-Red Sox series, Games 4 and 5 were two of the most thrilling games you’d want to see, and when you have a buildup like that, people are going to be excited to see Games 6 and 7. In football, the games can be just as thrilling, but they stand on their own. A regular-season game in the NFL has almost a playoff feel some weeks.

Put Don (Orsillo)/Jerry (Remy) on FOX and see how much better the games are. They have fun and make the games worth listening to.
