It is that time of year when the snow comes falling down from the heavens and this year it started today. Well actually yesterday, but it only lasted for about an hour and they were only random flakes. Today was a full out snow even though it didn’t stick. I love snow, but only at certain times. I love snow when I want to go skiing or be the kid in me and have a snowball fight with friends. However, when I am going to work and I have to get up 1/2 hour earlier to clean my car off, that is annoying.
Living in New England, I have grown accustomed to snow at odd times, but some of the people that I work with are not from this part of the country and they hate the cold and snow. It is very interesting to see how people from outside of NE react to the weather conditions.

2008 is going to be awesome and I feel as if the Red Sox now have a better chance at winning another World Series. The MVP of the 2007 World Series just re-signed with the Red Sox for a 3 year deal which is what they were looking for. Lowell was looking for a 4 year deal, but since today was the last day for negotiations with the Sox, he decided that 3 years would work. The biggest decision they had to make in the off-season was to re-sign him and they did. Since they already re-signed Schilling for 1 more year, they are going to have an amazing line up and rotation/bullpen.
With all of his success in 2007, I would have been shocked if the Red Sox let him go.

Each week, teams go out and see if they can beat the Patriots, just like they should. The problem is that no team besides the Colts even came close to beating the Patriots. However, this game was typical of the NE who has been unstoppable this season. Between Randy Moss, Tom Brady, Donte Stallworth and Wes Welker, the team will surely win the superbowl just like I predicted in the pre-season.
Rivalry History
The Patriots and Bills met for the 96th time since the series between the AFC East rivals began in 1960. The Patriots lead the series 55-40, with one tie. The Patriots’ 55 wins over Buffalo are their most over any opponent, six more than they own over the New York Jets (47). New England has won nine straight games in the series and has won 14 of its last 15 games against Buffalo dating back to the 2000 season. The Patriots have swept the season series from the Bills in 4 straight years (including this one) and have achieved the feat six of the last seven years. New England defeated Buffalo 38-7 in the third game of the 2007 season at Gillette Stadium on Sept. 23. - source
The Patriots will go back home to play the Eagles next Sunday night to try and get to 11-0

StudentCity.com launched their new website today as part of a new initiative to further the Spring Break Experience. In the new site, there is a community section where users can go to network with other students who are going on Spring Break and who are going to the same destination during the same week.
There is a promotion going on (at time of post) called “Pimp My Spring Break”. This is a contest that allows your friends to vote for you and if you get the most votes, you will have your Spring Break pimped out.
Not only will you be more in touch with the people going on the trip, but you will also know what celebrities will be going as well. From “Real World” stars to movie stars to DJs and artists, StudentCity.com provides a great service to the Spring Break genre and making Spring Break a year long event and not just one week a year. StudentCity.com not only provides the Spring Break trip, it also gives you the Spring Break Experience.

Kelly Pickler was on “Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader” tonight and it was absolutely amazing. She was known from being on American Idol as the Small Town Girl (who is really beautiful), but not Smarter Than A 5th Grader. She made it to the $50,000 point and then dropped out even though she knew the answer but didn’t want to risk losing that money for charity.
She had the best logic for coming up with the right answer for some of the questions. For example, the question was which of the following was a US President. One of the answers was Franklin Pierce and since her last name started with a P and so did Pierce, but she was right.
This is the first year that I didn’t go to NACA in a while and this time I missed a big performance by a girl who was on stage. My friend Dan who is the 2007-2008 PACE President (I was President 2006-2007) told me about it and I found it on youtube to share.
While performing Soulja Boy Tell’em - Crank That (Soulja Boy), a girl fell off the stage onto a cement floor. Luckily she only had some bad bruises.

It makes Josh Beckett and I very mad when the better pitcher gets the award! Well, according to Beckett, he thinks the better pitcher won, but I think he is lying (or in denial).
How does a pitcher, who is absolutely amazing, have the best winning record and all of the majors and still not receive the Cy Young Award. I guess I forgot the concept of baseball was to try and prevent the other team from scoring. Well, it is, but it is more important that you win the game. There is a chance that you may have the lowest ERA but still lose the game. Josh Beckett had 1 more win than C.C. Sabathia but watch out for the Innings Pitched because those are going to come back and bite him in the ass.
Sox1Fan.com wrote a great article about it and I could not agree more with him. Beckett got robbed.

Dutin Pedroia is absolutely amazing when it comes to playing baseball for the Boston Red Sox. However, at the end of April not everyone was singing his praises when he was batting a .182 but Francona stuck with him and he turned his stats around. Pedroia hit .415 in May, .333 in June, .299 in July, .346 in August and .302 in September totaling a .317 for the season. Pedroia was listed first on 24 of the 28 ballots submitted by two writers in each league city and second on the other four to total 132 points. The Rays’ Delmon Young finished second behind Pedroia with 56 points.
A few days ago Dustin had surgery to fix a broken bone in his hand that he was playing on since August. When you’re up for that award, you can’t take time off to heal apparently. Good Luck on the recovery and congratulations Dustin!!

This is one of the funniest “trailers” I have ever seen. Being a techie, I remember using all of those tools and how AOL was amazing when I first got the internet. You have to love the creativity with this movie to think of all those areas of the early 1990’s and combine them in such a unique way.
Enjoy!
