2007 World Series Game 1: Red Sox Take Opener 13-1
Game 1 was just a Rocky bashing that started in the first inning. Beckett came out and struck out the side and then at his first at bat in the world series, Dustin Pedroia hit a home run off the top of the Green Monster. The runs just piled up for the Red Sox who won 13-1. 11 of the runs came with 2 outs in the inning.
The Red Sox broke 3 World Series records last night in Game 1. 12 doubles in a game (previous 9), beat opponent by 12 runs (previous 11) and 9 consecutive batters were at bat without making an out.
