Red Sox Going To Game 7 In ALCS 2004….O Wait, It’s 2007
Can they do it again in 2007, that is the question. Yesterday was game 6 of the 2007 ALCS and with the Sox down 3-2 in the series, they needed a good game from Schilling to force a game 7. Schilling went 7 strong innings giving up 2 runs and 6 hits to the Indians, but it didn’t matter how schilling did after the 3rd innings because the Red Sox offense came alive. JD Drew with a grand slam in the 1st inning and then a 6 run 3rd inning making it 10-1. It stayed that way until the end of the game when the Red Sox scored two. I was in Boston and trying to get a last minute ticket to the game, but people wanted $350 for a ticket and I wasn’t going to spend that kind of money.
Game 7 which is starting a few minutes after this post goes live and it will be great as long as Daisuke can get out of the 4th and 5th innings which is usually where he struggles. Win or Go Home (hopefully Boston wins)
GO SOX!!!!!!
