Red Sox And Fenway Park Set For ALDS Vs. Angels
The last time the Red Sox played the Angels in the playoffs, Big Papi had a walk off home run to clinch the series and win the American League Divisional Series. The three game sweep went on longer than expected when Vlad hit a grand slam to tie the game off of Mike Timlin.
Before 2004, you would need to go back to 1986 when the Sox faced the Angels in the American League Championship Series which the Red Sox obviously won since they played the Mets in the World Series that year…and we all know how that turned out.
In 2007 nothing has been determined yet because anything can happen in October, however, it doesn’t hurt to have the best record in baseball. Even though the Angels won their division, they have a tough road ahead of them.
Game 1 of the ALDS starts on Wednesday, Game 2 on Friday and Game 3 on Sunday. Enjoy!
