ICANN decided that they were not going to allow the .xxx TLD (Top-Level Domain) for adult content. I feel that if they voted to accept the application they would be able to use it and gain many benefits. Businesses and Schools could just block one TLD instead of trying to block certain types of sites. If you try to block types based on words but you may be blocking sites that are legitimate sites. The .xxx top-level domain will create a clearly identifiable area of the Internet so that Internet users can be more informed when choosing to select or avoid adult entertainment sites.
What Are the Benefits of the .xxx TLD?
- For willing adult consumers of adult entertainment, the Best Business Practices incorporated into the .xxx registration agreement will bring a greater degree of confidence and certainty to their online experience.
- For adult entertainment providers, identifying themselves as compliant with a comprehensive set of Best Business Practices is expected to provide more predictable revenue streams, greater customer retention and fewer complaints as regulators and others will see adult entertainment providers take a proactive and responsible approach to their web presence.
- For individuals or families wishing to avoid adult content, the machine- readable labels will allow easy and reliable filtering.
- In addition, the introduction of .xxx creates a credible, self-regulated forum for all stakeholders to discuss and actively respond to concerns about online adult entertainment.

Johnny Pesky!!! Johnny Pesky!!! It is amazing what an 87-year old man can do to boost the moral of a baseball team. Johnny Pesky, Mr. Red Sox, has been with the Sox for the past 57 years as a player, coach and manager. He is a Boston icon and loved by the fenway faithful.
Red Sox manager Terry Francona said the team was told by the commissioner’s officer it will enforce the rule that limits uniformed personnel in the dugout to players, managers, and six coaches. Francona said the Red Sox received a stern letter from baseball threatening substantial fines. “I sat down with him and talked with him about, and he was hurt,” Francona said. “I understand. But the rules are what they are.”
“I think his time has come,” Grady Little said. “When you get to the age of Johnny Pesky, his reaction time is not like it used to be, so you’re concerned with Johnny’s health — not only in the dugout during the game, but also during the workouts when he’s out on the field. It’s a tough situation, but I’m going to have to agree with Major League Baseball.”
I would have to disagree with the decision because this is no ordinary person, this is the legendary Johnny Pesky who had a foul line poll named after him. They can kick Johnny Pesky out of the dugout but they can’t take his spirit. Johnny, you will be missed in the dugout and your amazing attitude will always remain.

Week 6 (Day 40): Prayer
To Do Today
Examine your goals. Do they reflect your faith?
Today’s Prayer
Lord, have mercy on me, for I am condemned to death
on the day of my life-breath?s release,
while I implore on high with my eyes? pitiful gaze
fixed the perils ahead on that unavoidable journey,
with danger on all sides in my terrified imagination.
And while gazing at my cell?s ceiling where I will start
my outward journey, wretched and half dead with
a twisted face, with shaking fingers, muffled sighs,
failing cries, a thin voice, my grieving soul
shaken by a panoply of
doubts, I shall lament from the bottom of
my invisible soul the sins I have committed.
You are able, compassionate God, to perform a miracle
with your everlasting might saying,
?Be healed of your soul?s torment,?
or ?May your sins be forgiven,?
or ?Go in peace. You are cleansed of sin.?
And whatever I do not manage to say at that hour
receive from me today in your love for mankind,
O long-suffering, generous God, who gives life to all.
Today’s Scripture (Reading)
Isaiah 46:3 - 47:4
“Hearken to me, O house of Jacob, all the remnant of the house of Israel, who have been borne by me from your birth, carried from the womb;
even to your old age I am He, and to gray hairs I will carry you. I have made, and I will bear; I will carry and will save.
“To whom will you liken me and make me equal, and compare me, that we may be alike?
Those who lavish gold from the purse, and weigh out silver in the scales, hire a goldsmith, and he makes it into a god; then they fall down and worship!
They lift it upon their shoulders, they carry it, they set it in its place, and it stands there; it cannot move from its place. If one cries to it, it does not answer or save him from his trouble.
“Remember this and consider, recall it to mind, you transgressors,
remember the former things of old; for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me,
declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done, saying, `My counsel shall stand, and I will accomplish all my purpose,’
calling a bird of prey from the east, the man of my counsel from a far country. I have spoken, and I will bring it to pass; I have purposed, and I will do it.
“Hearken to me, you stubborn of heart, you who are far from deliverance
I bring near my deliverance, it is not far off, and my salvation will not tarry; I will put salvation in Zion, for Israel my glory.”
Come down and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon; sit on the ground without a throne, O daughter of the Chalde’ans! For you shall no more be called tender and delicate.
Take the millstones and grind meal, put off your veil, strip off your robe, uncover your legs, pass through the rivers.
Your nakedness shall be uncovered, and your shame shall be seen. I will take vengeance, and I will spare no man.
Our Redeemer — the LORD of hosts is his name — is the Holy One of Israel.

Obviously this isn’t real but it was a very good artistic drawing of Daisuke (Dice-K) Matsuzaka
“The most exciting moment of lunch with Daisuke Matsuzaka? That would have to have been when he became unusually animated while answering a question regarding the Red Sox-Yankees rivalry. His arms were flying around and we didn’t know what he was saying when suddenly his right forearm bumped hard into the wooden table in front of him. He winced. Only a little. He seemed to be OK.
And so we asked his interpreter, “What was he talking about?”
“He was talking about when Pedro MartÃnez threw Don Zimmer to the ground,” said translator Masa Hoshino.

Week 6 (Day 39): Prayer
To Do Today
Thank God for new life. Celebrate the feeling of spring and rejuvenation. Spend time outdoors enjoying nature’s beauty.
Today’s Prayer
King on high, mighty and awesome,
blessed Lord Jesus Christ,
for someone like me who despairs of salvation
only you can change the curse of mortality
into the blessing of life.
Only you can turn the discouragement of blame
into joyous praise,
shame into resilience,
humility into honor,
banishment into the hope of goodness,
separation into the expectation of reunion,
menacing words into compassionate comfort,
final condemnation into a second chance
at deliverance.
Today’s Scripture (Reading)
1 Timothy 3:14-16
I hope to come to you soon, but I am writing these instructions to you so that,
if I am delayed, you may know how one ought to behave in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and bulwark of the truth.
Great indeed, we confess, is the mystery of our religion He was manifested in the flesh, vindicated in the Spirit, seen by angels, preached among the nations, believed on in the world, taken up in glory.

Week 6 (Day 38): Prayer
To Do Today
Reflect on Jesus’ 40 days in the wilderness. What would you do if you were alone for 40 days in the wilderness?
Today’s Prayer
But you alone, Lord God, who loves mankind without
revenge and with forbearing,
on the day of the terrible last judgment
when my sinful soul is judged, take into account
these heart-rending words of self-reproach
and contrition that I myself have written instead
of waiting to hear them from you, God of compassion.
Now lift away and annul the instances of my unruliness
for I am bound to you with all of the desires of my soul.
Take away the reproaches of shame and scandal.
Cover the ugly appearance of my naked body
with your mighty right hand. Lead me to your rest,
for I am worn by the burden of sin.
Set me on the path of goodness toward you,
refuge and life. Remember me in mercy
even after death, O perfect life.
Blessed in heaven and honored on earth,
praised always in all things forever and ever.
Amen.
Today’s Scripture (Reading)
Zechariah 9:9-16
Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout aloud, O daughter of Jerusalem! Lo, your king comes to you; triumphant and victorious is he, humble and riding on an ass, on a colt the foal of an ass.
I will cut off the chariot from E’phraim and the war horse from Jerusalem; and the battle bow shall be cut off, and he shall command peace to the nations; his dominion shall be from sea to sea, and from the River to the ends of the earth.
As for you also, because of the blood of my covenant with you, I will set your captives free from the waterless pit.
Return to your stronghold, O prisoners of hope; today I declare that I will restore to you double.
For I have bent Judah as my bow; I have made E’phraim its arrow. I will brandish your sons, O Zion, over your sons, O Greece, and wield you like a warrior’s sword.
Then the LORD will appear over them, and his arrow go forth like lightning; the Lord GOD will sound the trumpet, and march forth in the whirlwinds of the south.
The LORD of hosts will protect them, and they shall devour and tread down the slingers; and they shall drink their blood like wine, and be full like a bowl, drenched like the corners of the altar.
On that day the LORD their God will save them for they are the flock of his people; for like the jewels of a crown they shall shine on his land.

I have been challenged to create the worst possible website ever in existence. I am going to take features from websites all over that are horrible and compile it all into one horrific website. I am not sure what I will do with it, but I might allow for comments with additions and/or changes. I think it would be fun to have the worst possible website that was intentional. Stay tuned

Week 6 (Day 37): Prayer
To Do Today
Say a special prayer for our struggling brothers and sisters in Armenia and elsewhere in the world.
Today’s Prayer
I was dubbed, ?Master,? which testifies against me.
I was called, ?Teacher, teacher,?
detracting from the praise of God.
I was said to be good because of my miserable plight.
I was considered a saint by men,
though I am unclean before God.
I was proclaimed just, though by all accounts
I am ungodly.
I reveled in the praise of men,
thus becoming a mockery before the tribunal of Christ.
I was called, ?Awake? at the baptismal font,
but I slumber in the sleep of mortality.
On the day of salvation I was named ?Vigilant,?
but I closed my eyes to vigilance.
So here are judgment and blame,
new reprimands and old sentences,
shame to my face and turmoil to my soul,
pleas about seemingly small things and very
grave matters.
Today’s Scripture (Reading)
1 Corinthians 12:8-27
To one is given through the Spirit the utterance of wisdom, and to another the utterance of knowledge according to the same spirit,
to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit,
to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another the ability to distinguish between spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.
All these are inspired by one and the same Spirit, who apportions to each one individually as he wills.
For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ.
For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body — Jews or Greeks, slaves or free — and all were made to drink of one Spirit.
For the body does not consist of one member but of many.
If the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,” that would not make it any less a part of the body.
And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,” that would not make it any less a part of the body.
If the whole body were an eye, where would be the hearing? If the whole body were an ear, where would be the sense of smell?
But as it is, God arranged the organs in the body, each one of them, as he chose.
If all were a single organ, where would the body be?
As it is, there are many parts, yet one body.
The eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you,” nor again the head to the feet, “I have no need of you.”
On the contrary, the parts of the body which seem to be weaker are indispensable,
and those parts of the body which we think less honorable we invest with the greater honor, and our unpresentable parts are treated with greater modesty,
which our more presentable parts do not require. But God has so composed the body, giving the greater honor to the inferior part,
that there may be no discord in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another.
If one member suffers, all suffer together; if one member is honored, all rejoice together.
Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it.

Thanks to Mingle2.com, here are the “Ten Ways Being a Geek Makes You More Attractive”
- You’re probably very smart.
- It’s hip to be geek. Everyone is familiar with the stereotype of thick glasses, a pocket protector, an obsession with star trek, and social skills akin to a sack of potatoes. Times have changed: geeks are often fashionable, hip individuals who are very aligned with the trends of their own generation
- You geek out on more than just your computer. Ever seen the movie collection of a film geek? Ever had an automotive geek work on your car? Ever seen the body of a fitness geek? The tenacity of someone like us, when applied to hobbies outside computers and the like, can yield impressive results.
- Geek humor is the best humor. This is perhaps a biased opinion, but I’ve never laughed as hard as I have while reading some of the random, funny things that came out of geek culture.
- You listen to good music. Geeks have access to tools that allow us to hear music that extends well beyond top 40 radio. Want the entire discography of Aphex Twin by tomorrow afternoon? Ask a geek. Not only do they listen to good music, they can find just about anything you’re looking for in a heartbeat.
- You make good money. If there’s one stereotype about geeks that usually rings true, it’s that they rarely have trouble earning a decent income.
- You fix stuff. Everyone loves a handyman, especially one that can fix one of the most frustrating devices ever conceived: a personal computer.
- You’ve got your own stuff going on. You’ll never meet a geek who runs out of things to do, they’ve got lots of hobbies and interests and are more than happy to dive head first into one of those when they’ve got some spare time. In other words: they won’t rely on you to give them a life.
- You’re very articulate. Compulsively reading a few hundred RSS feeds a day yields a vocabulary that could put most college English majors to shame.
- You’re passionate. When a geek becomes interested in something, they tend to immerse themselves in it entirely. They’ll strip a new gadget down to nuts and bolts and re-build it with an xhtml compliant grappling gun. This intense passion can extend to many areas of a geek’s life, not just computers and hobbies.

Jack told the EMT’s that they need the pilot alive but he died. Doyle explained what happened with the drone and fallout. Bill told Jack about the Vice President’s decision and that they needed to stop him. Gredenko and Fayed realized that the bomb didn’t go off. Fayed attacked Gredenko telling him that he had the bombs and not Gredenko. Gredenko called Mark, a man who was going to be providing him with security clearance, had to use his mentally retarded brother to get the information. Chloe caught Mark and Bill told her to let Jack know. Doyle found out that Nadia’s computer was compromised and she didn’t know it, but he hid the evidence.
Karen Hayes approached Sandra Palmer who was standing next to President Palmer who is still in a coma. Karen asked Sandra to wake up her brother to stop the Vice President from launching the strike. Sandra did not want to give consent but after she thought about it, she said she was going to talk to the doctor. Daniels was told that Sandra wanted the President woken up. Daniels called the doctor and told him that if the President dies, he will be hung to the wall. Jack attacked Mark’s house and they shot him. Jack got information about the situation from his brother Brady. Jack found out that Mark sold blueprints to Gredenko for a nuclear physicality and that they will need to use Brady to make the deal.
Mark needed to convince Brady that he needs to listen to Jack and do what he says. Mark called Gredenko and told him that he is leaving the protocols with Brady. Milo accused Doyle of burying the evidence but Morris came in and clarified that he had the evidence and got it authenticated matching Nadia’s computer. Bill said that if the evidence was true than Nadia will be released but he needed to review it. Doyle told Milo that he is fine with the situation, but he will remember what happened.
Bill told Nadia that she was not involved and that he was sorry that it happened but Bill asked her to stay and work because they need their best people. Chloe told Milo that his feelings for her are not hidden well. Milo chased her into the back and started to kiss her and she kissed back than Nadia told him that she needs to get back to work. Sandra told the doctor not to put him back in the coma and then he started to flat line. Jack needed to talk to Brady so that he understands how the communication unit in his ear worked. Jack took him outside and told him to walk to the location. Brady gave the information to Gredenko and then they shot him with a tranquilizer followed by killing the other targets. Jack took the final shot killing the other hostile and then telling Brady that he will be fine.
Jack put Brady in a car and sent him back to CTU to see his brother. They didn’t find the bombs in Gredenko’s vehicle and Jack went to go interrogate him. Gredenko told Jack that Fayed had the bombs. Even thought the information that CTU gave them is relevant, Vice President Daniels ordered the strike, however, the strike was canceled per order of President Palmer. Wayne then called the VP and told him that he is not going to let him order the strike. Wayne also told the VP that the order will not be followed without his direct authorization. After he hung up, the Vice President said that President Palmer is not fit to remain in office since he was hurt and asked to contact the Attorney General.
