Armenian Alphabet

In 405 AD under the guidence of King Vram Shepuh, Mesrop Mashtots (Armenian: “Մեսրոպ Մաշտոց”, pronounced Mesrob Mashdots) and the Armenian Catholicos at the time Saint Sahag wanted to create an Alphabet for the Armenians to strengthen the Armenian Church and the Government.
