Windows Live Search

Windows New Live is currently in Beta testing and is trying to be the new Google IG. Due to the fact that it is from Microsoft, we will have to wait and see if the OS giant can beat the search giant of Google.

The look of Windows Live is semi-appealing, but it is very dull, but so is Google IG. It does have some really cool ajax based features to it that are much better than Google IG. So I think we should wait until it comes out officially before anyone judges it.

PSU has been talking about getting a new internet connection for sometime now that is a bigger pipe. Last month, we had it installed and there was no noticeable difference due to the fact that it was only increased by 10 mb/s due to a tight money situation.

Baseball great Kirby Puckett dies at 45

(CNN) — Baseball hall of famer Kirby Puckett, who helped lead the Minnesota Twins to World Series wins in 1987 and 1991, died Monday after suffering a stroke over the weekend, the team announced. He was 45.

Cop Arrested = Small World

A Massachusetts state trooper from Lancaster was arrested for trying to solicit sex from a 14 year old boy over the internet. However after months of talking with him, they decided to meet, but what the state trooper didn’t know was that the “boy” he was talking to was an FBI agent.

His wife kicked him out of his house in Lancaster and went to go live with his aunt, in Arlington, MA (my home town). They didn’t release his aunt’s name at first, but once they did I told my mother and come to find out, my parents know his aunt. I actually fixed her sisters computer last year who is also one of my mother’s friends.

His aunt needed to remove her computer from her house so he couldn’t access the internet while she was at work. She is a third grade teacher at Brackett Elementary School and the principal told her that they school was not comfortable with him living with her so she kicked him out of her house.

Virtual Earth Preview

Virtual Earth is a new service by Microsoft that currently is in Technology Preview right now. It hasn’t even been released for Beta Testing yet.

Virtual Earth is going to be the new Google Maps, but more extreme. It actually allows you to see what the road looks like if you were driving down the street at a specific location. As you move the “car”, the image changes above and shows you what the new road is. It contains cars, buildings and other structures.

Currently, they only have San Francisco and Seattle set up due to the fact that it is not fully released yet. It will be interesting when they decide to add more cities in there like Boston where I can actually decide how accurate the images are because they don’t have all views in yet so it is just for the “shock value”.

My sister had her baby at 5:00pm about 7 weeks before he was due. Cameron Jay Heichman. Cameron was born at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Mass. (my home) He was 3lbs 7oz and 16 inches long. Due to how premature he was, he is going to be in the hospital for the next couple of months. The baby is doing great and he is adorable.

My sister had a C-Section due to the fact that she had very low Amniotic Fluid also called Oligohydramnios.

I am going to be writing more once I get more information, so stay tuned.

Call Log Presentation - Postponed

I was going to be presenting Call Log today at the Managers meeting, but due to the “plague” that is going around, especially ITS, the presentation was postponed till next week. That does give me more time to get everything double checked and to make sure that there are no errors, but it does put me a week behind on my Senior Project.

I need to have beta testing time for the professional staff to use and to find out what needs to be changed or added to fit their needs. It is not a serious problem, but I would like it to get done sooner rather than later.
